if you wanna learn what women want then watch the series a discovery of witches based on the books trilogy, and you will understand. it’s all in the small things. matthew and his behavior is everything. kissing a hand, caressing, showing care and affection, being attentive, reading each other through eyes rather than words, remembering little things, being gentle when needed, opening the door for her. the simplest things make it even better, yet it seems so difficult to find someone like that. sometimes you really can tell when a character is written by a woman, we know what we want in a person, while the society pays attention to bigger stuff rather than gestures
